I have been a patient of Dr. Tsai’s since February 2011. Before I began treatment I had been diagnosed with many different medical issues. As a result, I was taking over 30 different medications and vitamins. I suffered from severe back pain and chronic kidney failure. I also have a history of Lyme disease.Since my treatment with Dr. Tsai began, I have noticed a marked improvement in my back pain. When I first came in to see Dr. Tsai I could hardly walk. My problems were sciatica, stenosis of the spine, bulge disc, two deteriorated discs and a non-cancerous tumor. He has shrunk my tumor so I am able to live a normal life. I couldn’t stand on my feet for more than ten minutes. I was in such a condition that several doctors suggested to me that I would need operations to cure my conditions. After I spoke to Dr. Tsai , he told me that I needed no operation and that he could get me back to my self normal again. After a number of visits I’m able now to walk as much as I want. I would like you to know what wonderful people you have working for and with you. I’d been in pain (upper arms) for approximately five weeks (due to fibromyalgia, a rheumatic condition.) I knew that if I went to a Rheumatologist I would have been prescribed steroids and pain medication and this is not what I wanted. After the initial treatments in acupuncture, we discussed diet and exercise. I gave up all stimulants: coffee, soda, wine. Within a few treatments I began to feel better. Slowly my arms returned to normal and I could move them in any direction without pain. When the pain moved to my ankles and/or wrists, the pain was alleviated. I am in my sixty third year and I have been ill most of my life. This was the fourteenth acupuncture doctor I went to. I started seeing them in September. I do have some very, very small needles in my ears that I press on when I feel the urge to smoke – and the urge goes away. It is very, very amazing that I quit smoking. Dr. Tsai was referred to me by my girlfriend in Boynton Beach. I had a bike accident and ended up being thrown from my bike and landing on my helmet and hurt my neck. I went to a physician who took an MRI and said I had herniated a disc in my C6-C7. A visit to my cardiologist revealed that I would need surgery to clear my carotid arteries. I was to return in 6 weeks for a second ultrasound and at that time if my carotid arteries had remained the same, I would need surgery.
